DEATHCRUSH ‘Skool's In’ (12" Maxi Vinyl/Digital) released 7th October 2013 on Norway Rat/Believe Distribution

Norwegian trio Deathcrush are the day’s greatest thrill, with front women Åse Røyset and Linn Nystadnes channelling Kim Gordon at her nastiest over drummer Andreas Larssen’s Helmet nodding ballast. NME
Deathcrush are one of the coolest bands I've ever seen... they have created riot music for the 21st century. The Quietus
On the back of a limited Flexi Disc release accompanied by its very own Deathcrush magazine, the three-piece this time return with something a little more accessible in the recognisable shape of a 12" coloured maxi vinyl!
After recording with Billy Anderson (Swans, Melvins) and Jørgen Træen (Datarock, Annie), songs for their much-anticipated series of singles are now in the mixing hands of the band's own Linn Nystadnes.
The four-track release, out via Norway Rat/Believe Distribution on the 7th October, again showcases the ferocity and energy the band pack. Opening with “Lesson #3 for Gina Kikoine / You Now” which can only be described as a hefty slice of metal-pop you’d expect from a Sleigh Bells/ The Fall get-together!
The epic five and a half minute Double A-side “Lesson #4 for Wharton Tiers / Strauss” takes the band even deeper into metal territory but retains the accessibility for all noise-inclined worshippers.
Over on the B-side, “Lesson #13 for Nanker Phelge / Fire”, Linn Nystadnes spits the lyrics with the intensity of a snake charmer and as a surprise treat, Mau5trap-signed newcomer James Njie serves up a shameless, dance floor filling remix of the same track.
