SKY VALLEY MISTRESS are a female fronted three piece who play Rock and Roll the way it should be, with fuzz, feedback and turned up fucking loud. 2013 saw Sky Valley Mistress embark on its biggest UK tour to date taking in places across the UK including Manchester, Preston, London and the prestigious ‘Download Festival’ ,playing to a packed out and appreciative tent on the Red Bull Stage. 

And to mark this great year taken from acclaimed debut EP “The best thing you’ve never heard.”, Sky Valley Mistress will be releasing fan favourite “The Day Of The Lion” as a Video Single directed by Aaron Dunleavy.

Directed and filmed by Sky Valley Mistress and Aaron Dunleavy. The video sees 3 bad ass girls inspired by the quote ‘It’s better to live one day as a lion than a thousand years as a lamb’, doing whatever they find that fuels their adrenaline, ultimately leading them all almost to their deaths.

Along with the release of their new music video Sky Valley Mistress are releasing an alternative to the usual CD single/7” record. Instead they will be putting out a “Special Edition” Augmented Reality A2 print. This print features access to the Sky Valley Portal that will be able to be scanned by any Android Smart Phone or iPhone using the LAYAR app, to open a new window into the next phase of Sky Valley Mistresses journey which will include constantly updated unseen content and special one-off events and secret shows (the Mistress will be watching you).

These prints are available in 3 different formats ranging from a FREE online PDF version with access to the Sky Valley Portal and Video single, a FREE Flyer Version which will include Sky Valley Portal, Video Single and MP3 download of “The Day Of The Lion” available upcoming shows. The final format is a Special Edition A2 print including the same features of the flyers and will be available for sale exclusively at both future shows and the Sky Valley Online Shop.
