Lace & Whiskey is melodic blend of rock, folk and pop featuring the growly rock balladeering of frontman Andy Hodgson (aka Rock 'n' Roll Andy) combined with the soaring guitar work of lead guitarist, Melissa Collett. Nick Charleston on bass and Aaron Smith on drums complete the four-piece.

‘Christmas Time Is Here’ is a rocky Christmas cracker packed with Yuletide cheer. It has all the ingredients of a classic Christmas tune, with its 70s retro guitar trimmings and a cracking chorus. A children’s choir in the outro completes the holiday vibe. After performing their acoustic version live on Phoenix FM in Christmas 2012, the band went into the studio with Lior Havkin and Steve Honest in his Rock of London studio to create their own brand of Christmas magic with this single.

Lace & Whiskey formed in East London and have been regulars on the London gig circuit. Appearing at venues such as Dublin Castle, Hope & Anchor, The Enterprise, Proud Camden and the Troubadour. The band’s name spread quickly around promoters resulting in performing at the prestigious High Voltage Beer Festival in London's Victoria Park.

They are known for their high-energy performances and this is perfectly captured in the infectious feel of ‘Christmas Time Is Here’ – even Scrooge could not resist tapping his foot.
