INTRODUCING…EMMA STEVENS DEBUT ALBUM: ENCHANTED

Following continued success with her recent single Riptide, Emma Stevens released her debut album Enchanted on 2nd December, 2013.

Riptide became Emma’s fourth consecutive single to grace the BBC Radio 2 Playlist and as she continues to ride the wave of excitement that included performing to 40,000 people in London’s Hyde Park as part of BBC Radio 2’s Festival in a Day, aswell as sessions on Terry Wogan’s show and a coveted first play and session from Chris Evans on his breakfast show, whilst also performing at his Carfest event.

Emma Stevens originally came to the attention of BBC Radio 2 producers after she uploaded her songs to the BBC Introducing website. Legendary presenter Terry Wogan was immediately smitten with Emma’s songs and voice and invited her in for a live session as did breakfast show host Chris Evans for whom she also performed live on air; unprecedented exposure for an unsigned artist, self funding her own releases.

‘Riptide’ completed a set of four limited edition EPs whose artwork fits together like a puzzle forming one beautiful painting, originally created by the singers mother, who sadly died of cancer. The image forms the artwork for Enchanted.

Talking about her story so far, Emma Stevens said:  "What an incredible journey this has been so far!, I’m thrilled to be releasing my debut album this year, it’s a dream come true and I’m really proud of all of the songs on Enchanted”.

Emma is an incredibly talented singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist playing guitar, piano, cello, ukulele, banjo, mandolin, percussion and baritone guitar as well as singing on all songs!

To support the release of Enchanted, Emma Stevens will be supporting Jenn Bostic across the UK during November and December 2013.

Emma Stevens will return in early 2014 with her first UK headline tour – Watch this space for dates to be announced soon!
