News of Liz Lawrence's upcoming UK tour in March 2014....

Liz Lawrence has ended the year with the amazing news that she has been selected for Bombay Bicycle Club's 2013 Ireland live dates and as main support for the bands 14 date UK tour in March 2014.

Ever since Liz Lawrence held her first 50p guitar at the age of eight, she was determined to make acoustic music an exciting, fresh and honest genre. Playing in punk and ska bands as a guitarist in her early teens, she found herself entranced and engaged in a full-blown love affair with live performance. Now heralding a new acoustic and electric guitar stage combination her fiery and precocious nature is hard to ignore as she marches through her tenderly crafted song-scapes. She takes you by the hand and walks you through her experiences as a youngster, a daughter, a lover and as a songwriter.

"Florence-minus-the-hollering, stomping stage routine hinting at a feisty little madam beneath the adorable, heavy fringe-adorned veneer, promising a new starlet in the making"Q magazine

Liz has supported artists such as; Scouting for Girls, Xavier Rudd, Ben Howard, Brooke Fraser, Young the Giant, Yoav, The Civil Wars, Michael Kiwanuka, Milow (Europe), Black a.k.a Colin Vearncombe (Uk and Europe) and one of her idols Ani Difranco, who commented on Liz as "a beautiful artist who lives on the edge".

"Liz Lawrence sounds like the Adele of the underground" Fresh on The Net

"Amazing" - Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6

“Liz Lawrence is one of the hottest new troubadours around … we could be talking about a major artist this time next year”- Hot Press

"Ms Lawrence has the potential to be a fresh breeze sweeping through a stale form."Julian Owen, Bristol Venue Magazine

“Very special... an organic songstress able to grab an unsuspecting crowd in the palm of her hand with only an acoustic guitar as heraccomplice. Highly proficient on the guitar, she was able to strum out laid-back acoustics as well quickening the pace and delivering songs packed with punches. Liz Lawrence is a fountain of potential. In a generation of sameness and tribute acts, she could truly illuminatethe folk genre. Look out for this one."Paul O'Donnell, The White Board Project.
