Bassist not for sale: just this great guitar!!

N.B. Please understand this is not, never was, a guitar owned by Chris Wolstenholme of Muse. As Patron of The Helen Foundation, he kindly agreed to pose for this photo with the guitar, after signing it.

Duck-egg blue guitar, made for Japan-only buyers, not for export. As such, it is rare, though in fact a c.2001 re-issue of the SBV-500 vintage guitars, which came in lots of flavors! This one is special in extra ways beyond its unique colour. It's autographed on the scratch-plate only, by the following acclaimed bassists:

  •  MUSE bassist, Chris Wolstenholme, signed the guitar in November 2013,whilst in Devon: autograph witnessed by The Helen Foundation trustees, Annie and Roger Kirk.
  •  Tom Petersson of 'Cheap Trick' fame
  •  Steve Bailey, internationally recognised bassist, and author of top-selling guides on bass guitar playing
  •  Tony Levin,US session-player, and bassist with L.A.Namm in particular

Virtually unused and unplayed guitar! But MUSE bassist Chris Wolstenholme unable to resist a few chords only, when Helen Foundation trustees invited him to add his autograph to this multi-signed bass guitar!

Acquired and signed at Mansons Guitar Show, then generously donated on by THF friend Neil Pratt (www.neilscleaningservices.co.uk) bassist of 'Eat the Rich',a Devon-based rock-band.  Adrian Ashton of Mansons (world-renowned guitar store) has happily agreed to vouch for the 3 signatures acquired at the show, which are featured on the guitar.
