"Deep within the lovely Bayside burbs of the Redlands lay Brisbane Alt. Rockers Minus Nine.

The 5 piece alternative band who love loud-quiet dynamics, the occasional screeching vocals, killer solo's and lot's of distortion.

Formed in 2010, they started picking up speed in 2012 gigging on the local Brisbane scene playing venues such as The Zoo, The Hi-Fi, The Tempo, Rics Bar, The Hive, plus many more; the band has since gained a bit of a following.

Notorious for energetic live shows, loud guitars, pop orientated but grunge inspired songs, honest and contemplative lyrics and jokes about the lead singers weight. Minus Nine are slowly but surely gathering some attention.

Currently in the process of recording their debut EP, Minus Nine have big plans for the rest of 2013.
