Mexico Indigo 'The Trumpet' Single available July 22nd 2013....
Mexico Indigo release the first track ‘The Trumpet’ taken from their album ‘Single Blind Design’
Mexico Indigo are a band from London, they are Stuart Camara (Lead Vox/Lead Guitar) Matt Kingston (Backing Vox/Bass Guitar) Phil Kingston (Drums/Percussion).
They are influenced by The Beatles, The Sex Pistols, The Libertines, Nirvana and Oasis. Their sound is a mix of the melody of the Beatles combined with the thrashiness of the Sex Pistols and is best described as 'Thrashy Melodica'.
After recording a few demos themselves on a 16-track and playing lots of gigs throughout Camden they got noticed by Strummerville who gave them funding to go into a recording studio to record a three track EP. Out of this they secured high profile supports slot with bands including Viva Brother, Dog is Dead and Wet Nuns as well as significant radio airplay throughout London and abroad, spanning as far as Brazil.
Over the summer of 2012 they continued recording and finished off a 10 track album called 'Single Blind Design', which is available on Soundcloud or to buy on Band Camp http://mexicoindigo.bandcamp.com/.
Mexico Indigo continue to play gigs throughout London on a regular basis and in June they are touring throughout England to promote the release of their album and latest single 'The Trumpet'. You can keep up-to-date with the band on Facebook and Twitter.
