In a newly released buzzed about video, renowned actor and comedian Patton Oswalt (King of Queens), provides a brilliant comedic interpretation of the revolutionary soul anthem “The Magic Clap” by Oakland group The Coup.
Oswalt described the video on Twitter by saying succinctly, “I explain my favorite song by my favorite band.” The video, which is spreading across the internet via sites such as Funny Or Die, The Huffington Post, Slate, The AV Club, Mashable and others, features Oswalt on a couch delivering a non stop barrage of ingenious sight gags directly relating to the socially charged lyrics of the song.
"The Magic Clap” can be found on The Coup's latest full length release Sorry To Bother You. The album merges danceable beats, punk urgency and the astute social commentary of hip-hop to craft a refreshingly unique sound that draws from the past whilst never sounding anything but futuristic.
