Alison Moyet ‘Live at Bush Hall EP’ released on 29th July – download only

Following the overwhelmingly positive response to Alison Moyet’s boundary-pushing new album ‘the minutes’, Cooking Vinyl are pleased to present the ‘Live at Bush Hall EP’.

1.    ‘When I Was Your Girl’

2.    ‘Filigree’

3.    ‘Nobody’s Diary’

4.    ‘Don’t Go’

Earlier this year, Alison did a unique, one-off gig at

London’s intimate Bush Hall, to premiere tracks from ‘the minutes’.

The show was aptly titled ‘taking the minutes’ and marked the one and only time Alison will ever perform ‘the minutes’ in its entirety, accompanied by the album’s collaborators Guy Sigsworth (producer and co-writer) and Chris Elms (engineer, programmer and guitarist).

Luckily for all those that missed the show (plus those that didn’t) a sample of the magic has been captured on the EP, where the excitement and pure enjoyment of both Alison and the fans is clearly audible.

In addition to ‘When I was Your Girl’ and ‘Filigree’, the EP also gives listeners a chance to hear the Yazoo classics ‘Nobody’s Diary’ and ‘Don’t Go’ re-worked by Guy Sigsworth into gleaming and up-to-the-minute electronic floorfillers.

‘Live at Bush Hall EP’ captures an unforgettable night, and is a great taster for her headline tour, which runs from September 16th and throughout October. This tour places ‘the minutes’ centre-stage, and will also focus on the significant electronic material in her back catalogue.

Tickets are on sale now.
