Following Release of EP ‘Head vs Heart,’ the Rose prepares for a National UK tour.

Ariana & the Rose is pleased to announce it will be opening for The Hoosiers on the band’s 16-date national UK tour. Having already performed prolifically across the US, most recently on a 20-date national tour, including such legendary stages as the Whiskey A Go Go in LA and the Gramercy Theater in New York (Lady Gaga's ‘Born This Way Ball’), the NYC-based electro pop outfit is excited to begin touring in the UK. And, in addition to The Hoosiers tour dates, Ariana is looking forward to playing Pinkfields 2014, Huddersfield’s Gay Pride event, at the end of May.

The tour announcement comes on the heels of the Rose’s debut EP release ‘Head vs Heart,’ which garnered  a flurry of UK press and acclaim, including features in The Guardian (Paul Lester stated "This music is pop, epic...instantly appealing”) and Now Magazine, and left fans eager to catch her live on stage. Never one to disappoint, Ariana made touring a top priority in 2014. She is especially excited to perform in Liverpool, home to Sir Paul McCartney, whose most recent video 'Queenie Eye' she appeared in.

Much of this acclaim is due to the release of singles ‘Heartbeat’ followed by ‘In Your Bed,’ which climbed various Music Week charts, reaching #4 on Upfront and #7 on the Pop charts (‘Heartbeat’) and #5 at both the Upfront Club and Pop charts (‘In Your Bed.’)

The Hoosiers are equally excited to have Ariana & the Rose joining them as they tour in support of new album 'THE NEWS FROM NOWHERE', released on April 14th 2014. This will be the first major headline tour The Hoosiers have undertaken since promoting their top 10 album ‘The Illusion Of Safety’ in 2011.
