AYRON JONES AND THE WAY - DREAM - ALBUM REVIEW

Ayron Jones and the way is a 3 piece rock band from Seattle and this is their debut album that was produced by Sir Mix-a-Lot.

The album starts off with 'On Two Feet I Stand', with an opening that disguises the power to come in the album, this is a great first song.  There’s a bit of Joe Bonamassa present in the sound.

The vocals range from low to high effortlessly with the ever present guitar flowing throughout the whole album.  There’s a powerful dynamic amongst the band that surrounds each song with an aura, that aura pulsates throughout tracks like 'Feedin’ From the Devil’s Hands' and 'Bounce Your Head'.

There’s imagery throughout the album flowing in ripples and then bringing back waves to gather the listeners in closer and closer. From gripping to soft, this album soars, there’s an energy in it that's usually witnessed only in live performances.

The vocals are crisp, driving the lyrics not only into the head, getting the body to flow and become part of the sound, such as with 'Can’t Stop The Rain', caressing the listeners ears with a gentle nudge to see the pain, the needs and the burning desire to be heard in 'When Will I Learn' and 'My Love Remains'.

From start to end, the album becomes the pulse and sphere the listener will reside in and continue to stay in as long as the album repeats, great stuff.
