“You'll love Billy Lockett [and his] outta this world video” – MTV 

Billy Lockett has unveiled the luminous animated video to his wonderful single ‘Old Man’. This charming piece was created by Sam Gainsborough, an up-and-coming director/animator, by using claymation, animation and various other cinematic techniques, perfectly capturing the mood of Billy’s song - depicting him embarking on a magical journey with his sadly departed father and celebrating the bond they had.
 

'Old Man’ is a yearning, heartfelt number and both the song and video are dedicated to Billy's dad, serving as a poignant reminiscence of the man who formed Billy into the artist he is today.
 
The video has just received its premiere via MTV UK who have fallen for the video's charms and the song's infectious chorus, "Old man teach me a thing or two, I can learn a lot from you”. They're not the only ones declaring themselves fans of Billy. In the first two weeks of Billy putting ‘Old Man’ on his Soundcloud page he has chalked up over 50,000 plays from his rapidly expanding and loyal fan base. 
 
'Old Man' is to be released through Billy Lockett's own label Selfish Records on September 29th. 
 
After spending the last year touring with the likes of KT Tunstall, Lana Del Rey and Birdy, Billy sets out on his biggest UK headline tour to date in October, which will be rounded off at The Tabernacle on November 6th.  The full dates are as follows:
