Devon based rock trio BLACK FOXXES to support YOU ME AT SIX on 11 date arena tour....

When you think of Devon, you think of rolling countryside, seaside scenes with kids splashing about with their buckets and spades whilst old men sit on rented deck-chairs, knotted hankies on their heads, trying to afford a little shut eye before it's time to put their bodies through the torturous pureed meals at the local hotel that does a roaring trade with OAP's from all over this fine land.....there is however another side of Devon that you may not be aware of.....

Go inland a little to cities like Exeter and Plymouth and you'll be rewarded with a rich seam of music that courses through the veins of its inhabitants. There is a plethora of live music venues in the city such as The Phoenix, The Lemongrove and The Great Hall have all done their job in hosting some impressive acts throughout the years, The Cavern is a particularly special venue, it's not big, it's not particularly glamorous but what it DOES offer is character, bags of it. It was here that I first saw a band called Black Foxxes, a noisy (but very tight) 3 piece who were playing an immense set in front of a half filled room.

I followed the band around for a while (not in a stalking kind of way, that would have been wrong) but it seemed wherever I was, they were playing.....I saw them at an all day event in Plymouth at The White Rabbit a few years back, they played at The Underground on Mutley Plain, they played at The Phoenix in Exeter and what a treat it was to see them playing their hearts out on the BBC Introducing stage at the BBC One Big Weekend at Powderham Castle in May 2016, I would go on but I'm aware that you lives to lead and can't read my ramblings forever!

What I'm trying to say is that these guys ROCK, they are supporting the mighty YOU ME AT SIX on their UK arena tour in April and I for one am fucking excited at the prospect of catching the guys in Plymouth as well as trying to get up to the Alexandra Palace in London on the closing night of the tour. If you have anything between your ears, you too will be clicking on this LINK to buy tickets for the shows.
