Musical talent has always come naturally to the artist known as CAPITAINE MONALUISE. Studying music and piano at only age 7, the artist quickly discovered that her greatest passion was to sing. From there, she delved headfirst into the world of performance, developing a profound, daring voice, echoing aspects of Vonda Shepard, Jon Bon Jovi or PJ Harvey, and working on her own artist identity that she debuts now. Woking within rock-folk with elements of pop, indie and punk thrown in, the artists sound is not afraid to pull from all directions, creating rousing anthems that fly the flag for individuality, driven by her unique deep and reckless vocal tones.

Capitaine Monaluise debuts her new sound through her new single ‘Mixed Up Generation’ a jubilant celebration of a critical truth: the overload of social stimuli around her generation, the millennials. “When it comes to love, our ‘mixed-up generation’ is deeply-rooted in fairy-tale beliefs,” says the artist. “…short-lived, shallow connections, exacerbated by technology. With this song, I wish to interrogate these attitudes.”
