Brixton based Death and the Penguin have released their debut EP Accidents Happen through Best Before Records. The EP features ‘Strange Times’ and the new single ‘Snuffed Out’.

‘Snuffed Out’, is an impressive statement of intent and sets the standard for the remainder of the debut EP ‘Accidents Happen’. “Relentless in pace with all the volume and energy of a great hardcore band, it drives forward with profound lyricism and off-kilter rhythms contrasted by chorus hooks big enough to rival any platinum selling pop band”.

DEATH AND THE PENGUIN are: Tobias Smith (Vocals, Guitar); Christopher Olsen (Guitar, Keys, Vocals); Andrew Acred (Bass Guitar, Keys, Vocals); and Timothy Brennik (Drums, Vocals).

The band embark on their debut UK tour in support of the release of Accidents Happen in July 2014, with support from the brilliant Speaking In Italics:
