Seventeen years ago, Blissfields was a simple affair, a few friends enjoying a few drinks and a singsong around a campfire. Since then Blissfields has turned into one of the UK's major events on the festival calendar consisting of two sites. Over the years, revellers have enjoyed groundbreaking performances, hot air balloon rides, walked the trapeze, been in paint fights, dressed as animals, had tractor rides, travelled through time and indulged in the ultimate house party.

In 2018 there won’t be a Blissfields; instead they’re taking it all back to our roots to begin a new event and a new journey together.

Ladies and Gentlemen, please be upstanding for the arrival of BLISSCAMP....

We caught up with BARRY ASHWORTH who as well as being the driving force and frontman behind DUB PISTOLS and an all round party starter, has joined the BLISSCAMP team to help curate this year’s event. He told us that BLISSFIELDS is one of the most popular and well loved festivals on the UK circuit and was delighted in being invited to join them in organising this year’s shindig. He went on to explain that the site, the facilities and the production are ALL first class and it was because of this that he was so excited to be joining the team.

Friday night features a Ghetto Funk takeover at The Arcade featuring performances by A.SKILLZ, JFB, FEATURECAST & GHETTO FUNK ALLSTARS

The Saturday night features some of the finest drum ’n Bass acts including BMOTION, TORONTO IS BROKEN, HILLSDOM and LOKO.

Sunday hosts the finest looking closing party I have ever seen including performances from KIOKO, TOO MANY T’s, NORMAN JAY (MBE) and of course, DUB PISTOLS. Thursday acts are yet to be confirmed but seeing the lineup for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, I think you can expect some very high calibre acts!

There are 4 areas which will be catering for as many musical tastes as possible, these are;

• Hidden Hedge
• The Bay

All of the ‘Early Bird’ and ’Tier One’ tickets have already sold out, click HERE for information on all ticket types but please note, as I write this, there are only around 600 of the 2000 tickets remaining so please act fast to avoid disappointment. If you purchase tickets now, you can also take advantage of a great scheme where you pay over 4 monthly instalments to avoid having to find all of the money in one go, they really have though of everything!
