EXCLUSIVE - SILVER MAN REVEALS 'ANALOG X' VIDEO - EXCLUSIVE

3 BAR FIRE are proud to present the evocative video to ‘Analog X’, the first single to be taken from the long awaited debut album from Silver Man.

Incorporating 30-year-old, never-before-seen cine film footage recovered from his childhood, Outpost Media founder David Silverman has created a nostalgic visual accompaniment  that perfectly complements his intricate track 'Analog X', which recently received a coveted 5-star rating on DJ Mag.

Abandoning the dream of becoming a producer in his late twenties in favour of building one of the UK’s leading music PR companies, David is now set to return to his roots with the March 2014 release of his forthcoming debut 'Thieves and Millionaires' - a collection of unreleased tracks made over a 5 year period. With musical influences ranging from Ninja Tune and Tru Thoughts artists through to the likes of RJD2 and Bonobo, ‘Analog X’ is downtempo at its darkest.

Weaving a musical thread through the combination of loose percussion, eerie strings and haunting vocal samples, Silver Man’s influences burst through the composition, with an underlying melancholy to the song that reflects the time in which it was written, describing a sense of desperation in wanting to achieve something beautiful. Meanwhile, the Diesler Remix transforms the track, giving it an upbeat and energized alteration using catchy piano chords and quick percussion beats.

This same reflection of a bygone era is poignantly captured in the previously unopened home video footage, transferred to DVD by David's brother following their father's passing. This, interspersed with shots of David today, gives the viewer an intimate insight into family life and the passage of time.
