LISTEN - MICHAEL KIWUNAKA announces new single 'One More Night'....

Michael Kiwanuka is pleased to unveil details of a new single. One More Night is available now through Polydor Records. It is lifted from his critically acclaimed, number 1 album, Love & Hate.

It has been an explosive year for Michael, finally returning with a second record following four years of self-questioning and a loss of confidence in his craft.  What he eventually delivered was one of the most expansive albums of the year, and one that should surely stand the testament of time. Working alongside Danger Mouse, Inflo, and Michael’s long-standing producer Paul Butler, Love & Hate showcases the extraordinary vision of this uncompromising young British artist in delivering a near peerless record.  Love & Hate is nominated for this year’s Mercury Music Prize, Michael’s second nomination in as many records.

One More Night asserts that loose sense of groove in Love & Hate that Black Man In A White World first instilled. For a record that demands repeat listens as a whole, it is also one with a cluster of individual highlights. One More Night has quickly become another highlight of a rich, engrossing live set, and acts as another fitting example of what makes Love & Hate such a special record.

Michael will follow a busy Summer of festival appearances with a full UK/Ireland tour in October.
