Formed in early 2014, IDYLL is a transcontinental collaboration between two artists seeking to combine elements of their distinctive pallets into a new, transcendent sound.
This partnership between USA’s Joseph Vitterito and Sweden's Benjamin Gustafsson ended up with a sound that truly defies genres - or perhaps creates a new one - blending elements of pop, rock with flourishes of electronica. Featuring ethereal and evocative vocals, Paradisal rises into a sonic cocophony that would make a perfect headphone mix.
The irony is that both artists hail from pastoral regions of their respective countries yet are able to bring sounds that would be distinctively “metropolitan” into their own little corner and further define their niche.
