The breakdown…
‘Baby’, the seventh YELLO album, originally released in 1991, contains the classics 'Rubberbandman' and 'Jungle Bill' as well as the fan favourites 'Capri Calling' and 'Drive / Driven' and marks the musical bridge between the 80s and 90s for the dynamic duo Blank / Meier.
'Zebra', the duo's eighth album, originally released in 1994, contains the classic 'Do It' as well as the fan favourites 'How How' and 'Tremendous Pain’.
'Pocket Universe', their ninth album, originally released in 1997, is certainly one of the most controversially discussed outputs of the Swiss electronic legends, as the overall sound here was very progressive for the time. From Techno via Trance to Ambient, a multifaceted palette of all possible electronic music varieties is covered.
'Motion Picture', album number 10, originally released in 1999, contains fan favourites such as 'Liquid Lies', 'Squeeze Please' and 'Croissant Bleu'. In 2021 the album will now finally be released on vinyl for the very first time, as a 180g double LP in the original artwork with an additional four-page booklet including liner notes, rare photos and limited to a one-time reissue edition.
'The Eye', the eleventh YELLO album, originally released in 2003, contains fan favourites such as 'Planet Dada', 'Tiger Dust' and 'Indigo Bay'. In 2021 the album will now finally be released on vinyl for the very first time, as a 180g double LP in the original artwork with an additional four-page booklet including liner notes, rare photos and limited to a one-time reissue edition.
