Huge crowds joined Rory at the Reading & Leeds Festivals this weekend where he performed two storming sets to packed out tents. Following the release of his brand new single Human last month, the track has since been crowned Track Of The Day on Radio1 and added to the Radio 1 In New Music We Trust playlist. Rory also performed at Maida Vale for Huw Stephens (as he sat in for Annie Mac this month) and Jo Wiley has made Human her Record Of The Week.
Remixes of Human are available now, including a rework by MJ Cole which was premiered on Toddla T’s Radio 1 show. Rory also recently performed a striped down Mahogany Session of Human which is available to watch below;
Human follows Rag’n’Bone Man’s 2015 Disfigured EP, of which lead track Bitter End was championed by BBC Radio 1xtra and supported on the Radio 1 In New Music We Trust playlist. The title track from his 2014 Wolves EP (featuring guest vocals from Vince Staples, Stig Of The Dump and Kate Tempest) is currently featured on the opening titles of the BBC’s new hit drama, New Blood. Guilty (taken from the same EP) is also featured on the trailer for the new series of Orange Is The New Black. More brand new music will follow in the coming months and the debut album from Rag’n’Bone Man will be released early next year.
