KEANE Frontman TOM CHAPLIN releases new album and announces intimate UK tour dates....
Tom Chaplin hits the road this October playing 8 intimate shows across the UK finishing up at the Islington Assembly Hall on October 31st. These eagerly anticipated shows are Tom’s first in almost four years and are a chance to get up close and personal with one of this country’s finest singers.
Tom has assembled an incredible array of musicians, who are all multi-instrumentalists, able to switch what they play as the richly layered songs demand. His band features MD, drummer and programmer Sebastian Sternberg; Rosie Langley on violin, synths and guitar; classically trained pianist and violinist Tobie Tripp; and Beau Holland on guitar, synths and piano.
Tom releases his stunning debut album, ‘The Wave’ on October 14th through Island Records. The hugely evocative first single, ‘Quicksand’, is one of many album highlights.
Written by Tom, produced by Matt Hales (Aqualung, Lianne La Havas) and driven by his unmistakeable voice, ‘The Wave’ is a powerful album from the lead singer of one of Britain’s finest, Keane.
