Hailing from Bristol, KEIR first caught the eye of critics after performing live for BBC Introducing at Maida Vale and subsequently gained traction at a series of unforgettable early live performances on the festival circuit, including Glastonbury.

The gig at The Louisiana was the last date of his first solo tour, it sold out 2 weeks beforehand, proving just how popular he is. The Louisiana is a remarkable, intimate venue in the heart of Bristol. It has prior form for being a venue that artists of national significance play in their early days. The walls of the bar downstairs are decked with posters advertising acts such as Amy Winehouse and the Stereophonics.  KEIR’s performance had all the hallmarks of a musical legend, you should expect his poster to find its way onto the bar walls as an equal to those great predecessors very soon.

KEIR’s brand new slice of eclectic pop comes from a love of Patti Smith, Bowie and Debbie Harry; crafting a unique sound with a voice that sets him apart from the noise. KEIR has a remarkable stage presence and is supported by a very tight band, including his brother. There are echoes of Freddie Mercury and Prince about him but don’t expect a replica of them. As his manager put it, KEIR is travelling in his own lane, he isn’t like anyone else - he is a young man who has lived and breathed music to the exclusion of all else since he could walk.  His performance was beyond polished, it was astonishing, an instinctive performance of his music where all his influences fuse and emerge without thought, the crowd witnessed pure creativity tonight and they absolutely loved it.

KEIR put his heart and soul into his performance, which included tracks "Mother", dedicated to his Mum, who tailors the charity shop clothes that KIER finds to fit his unique style. "Sadboy", KEIR's latest single, is a raunchy love song, the connection between his lyrics and the shredding eclectic music of his band is a musical masterpiece. The capacity crowd went into raptures at the end of every track, it was striking how, upon receiving the applause from the crowd, a broad smile broke across his pouting pop star countenance. KEIR is a genuinely humble guy who is surprised that people love his music. The stand out track was his finale "Squeeze Me" which showcases the talents of his band, the sawing guitar, thudding bass, and perfectly discordant synth combined with stunning backing vocals. KEIR left the stage, leaving an ecstatic crowd in his wake, this guy is going to be HUGE!
