K.T. WILD to host a charity livestream of his new EP 'November Songs' in aid of mental health charity CALM

This Friday 26 November sees the release of November Songs, the latest EP from British singer-songwriter K.T. Wild (best known for writing the music for the soundtrack to Lionsgate hit movie A Christmas Gift From Bob). To celebrate the release, and in aid of mental health charity CALM, K.T. will be performing a livestream on Instagram at 7.30pm this Friday.

Each year, the month of November raises awareness around men’s mental health, a topic close to K.T.’s heart. One of the tracks from November Songs, titled ‘Brothers’ was inspired by this important cause, exploring the stigma and stoicism around male suicide.

Speaking about the track, K.T. said, “For this song, I wanted to throw my hat in the ring and join the conversation about men’s mental health. It breaks my heart to know that young men that are most at risk to suicide. There’s such a stigma about talking, being a ‘man’ and being seen as weak. But sometimes it’s not even that...sometimes we just don’t know where to go to get help, or we just don’t realise that talking to those around us might be the best place to start.

I’m sure all of us know someone who is at risk, or maybe someone listening is at risk themselves. The important thing I wanted to get across with this song is that we need to check in on ourselves, but also check in with those around us.”

“BROTHERS, WE ARE ONE!”

Fans can tune into K.T. Wild’s Instagram livestream to watch and listen, as he performs tracks from November Songs, the first opportunity to see him sing them live. All for a worthy cause, fans are encouraged to give as much as they are able to, donating to CALM via the link here.

The release of November songs comes after K.T. Wild embarked on a unique adventure around the UK. Having converted his transit van into a fully functioning roaming home (complete with all the kit to record new music), he is driving the length and breadth of Great Britain, showcasing his music to audiences wherever his travels take him.

Mapping his journey via video blogs, meeting people and discovering the rich music heritage in every town and city he visits has become K.T.’s inspiration for songwriting, playing gigs and releasing new music along the way (song inspirations available on request).

Every month, K.T is independently releasing a new EP of music which he has written and performed while on the road. His October Songs EP is available now on all streaming platforms with November Songs out this Friday. K.T.’s contemporary influences include Harry Styles, George Ezra and Lewis Capaldi, noting his “eternal inspiration” as Paul McCartney and a slight (unexpected) love of heavy metal / thrash metal bands like Pantera & Lamb Of God.
