Lifecycle Place the Camera’s Focus on Live….

With gadgets aplenty and battered instruments on board, Lifecycle are road warriors of the electronic universe.  Fusing electro, breakbeat and sub-bass tribalism into a show that bridges the gap between dynamic progressive rock and dreamy dancefloor electronica, Lifecycle are musical necromancers designed to cast a brazen spell.  Using live instruments and vocals warped by MIDI interfaces and laptops, this is one band determined to stay live at the heart of everything they do.

So determined, that their latest single ‘Dissolve’, due for release on Monday 10th March, is accompanied by a live video performance as opposed to conventional music promo. With additional visuals by New York collective Pisces Virgo Rising, it captures a psychedelic snapshot of a band in their natural environment – no trickery or gimmicks: just pure live delivery of an artisan’s passion.

Their coming tour sees them join forces with original prog/technology pioneer The Crazy World of Arthur Brown on selected dates – meaning those shows will probably be the greatest visual and aural spectacle of any gig ever.

“...rolling rhythm patterns wind around sophisticated chords and a bass throb that feels like an ocean current. The use of suspense without obvious release is very well realised, and the feel is of pleasures almost too intense to bear. All in all, a seriously powerful release…” - mixmag
