LITTLE MATADOR RETURN WITH A 'KNOCKOUT' VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE 'REASONS'....

Irish rock band Little Matador release their new single ‘Reasons’ in June, accompanied by another eye-catching video.

After getting up close and personal with a geriatric stripper in the video for their debut single ‘Stitch Yourself Up’, this time frontman Nathan Connolly ends up in a boxing ring facing two-time world champion female boxer Lisa Anderson, much to his bandmates’ amusement. Suffice to say, it doesn’t end well for Mr. Connolly!

Little Matador released their debut album last month to much acclaim and have been touring the UK in support of its urgent, impassioned rock’n’roll, including dates at Liverpool Sound City, Live In Leeds and The Great Escape in Brighton. They get back on the tourbus for more shows this summer as follows.

JUNE
28th - Royal Hospital, Dublin (supporting Biffy Clyro)
JULY
4th - Sonipshere, Hertfordshire
11th - T in the Park, Kinross
13th - Wakestock, Abersoch
AUGUST
17th - Belsonic, Belfast (supporting Biffy Clyro)

Acclaim for ‘Little Matador’

“Dirty, raw, aggressive rock and roll… with a dash of post-punk tension… ‘Little Matador’ is the sound of someone throwing off the shackles” – The Guardian

“A real gem… a primal howl trailed by a slight haze of psychedelia and circled by sinuous, QOTSA-ish twists. Little Matador rule” – Kerrang

“Sleazy and aggressive… grimy, scuzzy garage-rock… It’s raw and determined stuff that’s addictive and dark with conviction” – Rock Sound

“Aggressively grungy rock stompers held together with tuneful hooks” – The Sun
