Forest Live, the summer concert series presented by Forestry England in partnership with Cuffe & Taylor, is thrilled to announce that BRIT Award nominees and acid jazz trailblazers, The Brand New Heavies, are the latest addition to the 2025 lineup.

The Brand New Heavies will set the stage at Forestry England Cannock Chase on Wednesday, 25 June 2025, supporting the legendary disco icons Nile Rodgers & CHIC.

Since their debut in 1990, The Brand New Heavies have crafted an ever-evolving sound inspired by sophisticated '70s funk grooves, captivating dancefloors and fans for over three decades.

Their third album, ‘Brother Sister,’ was a game-changer, achieving a #4 chart position, over a million record sales, and a BRIT Award nomination. In 1997, ‘Shelter’ earned them another Top 5 Platinum certification, with hits like “Sometimes,” “You Are The Universe,” and their rendition of “You’ve Got A Friend” solidifying their status as genre pioneers.

The Brand New Heavies’ influence continues to flourish, with 2023 marking the release of ‘Never Stop... The Best Of’ and a sold-out tour, ‘Never Stop... The Greatest Hits,’ accompanied by the London Concert Orchestra.

The band will join Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame inductee and multiple GRAMMY Award-winning songwriter and guitarist, Nile Rodgers, on the breathtaking woodland stage at Forestry England Cannock Chase this summer.

After wowing fans at four Forest Live locations in 2024, Nile Rodgers & CHIC are set to return in 2025, promising another exhilarating performance packed with fan favorites and massive hits.

Forest Live 2025 merges world-class performances with stunning outdoor settings to create a unique atmosphere. This year's concert series will be hosted at four forest venues: Forestry England Cannock Chase, Delamere, High Lodge, Thetford, and Westonbirt Arboretum.

The Brand New Heavies will be among a lineup of renowned global artists performing at Forestry England Cannock Chase in 2025, including Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Snow Patrol, Sting, and James (supported by Razorlight and Jamie Webster).

Forestry England manages the nation’s 1,500 woods and forests, using funds raised by Forest Live to maintain these beautiful natural areas, run conservation projects, and continue tree planting. In the 2023/24 season alone, they planted 7.4 million trees and welcomed 285 million visits. Over two million people have enjoyed Forest Live concerts over the past 23 years.

This year, Forestry England is presenting the concert series with Live Nation’s Cuffe & Taylor for the second consecutive year.
