Speaking about the new single, the band says “Beat of a Drum is basically about the rhythm and natural flow of life, such as the ups and downs that we all experience. For example, the sunrise / sunset, the change in weather, the coming and going of traffic, and the flowing of water. The song starts slowly and builds in intensity, then releases and builds again. The song has a big emphasis on the drums, and we wanted the drums to have that hypnotic quality to them with the use of the toms”.

What the press had to say….

“A sense of an out of world experience, full of psychedelic vibes and context which allows KEEF to tell a story of an isolated state. Close your eyes and enjoy your imagination whilst listening to this record” - Off The Hook

“Satellite is a psychedelic indie jam, with subtle melodies and smooth vocals perfect for all your chill playlists. There are hints of Bowie here, mixed with a modern alt-rock vibe that works to create a familiar yet dynamic sound.” - Xunemag

“Maybe it’s the current locked down world that we live in but the track and the message behind it really resonated with me and I look forward to hopefully being able to see these guys live one day and I’m excited to hear their future tracks.” - LiverpoolNoise

“From Surf Rock rhythms to subtle hints of kaleidoscopically colourful psychedelia, to a magnetic modern Indie Rock swagger, Day In Day Out offers it all in this extremely enamouring earworm.” - AnRFactory

“With nods in their latest single to their psycadelic and alternative roots and influences spanning across the Northwest, this was akin to Parklife’s message in the sense of generational unrest. Bursts of surf rock punching through the track drag it across genres, the undeniable lyrics of a punk song, the spats of flowing indie rhythms all combine to provide a platform for the message to be spread” - LiverpoolNoise

KEEF are: Mike Paul Davies (vocals guitar), Marc Allan Gibbs (bass) & Brendan Downing (drums)
