The track is already impressing radio DJ's across the UK, including Kerrang Radio's Johnny Doom, who gave the single it’s first UK play. 

The song is very personal to Danny, as he explains below: "This is a song I’ve been sitting on for a long time, I had a bunch of songs that have been in the works for years, I recently had a horrible anxiety attack which led to a course of therapy sessions. They really helped and a lot with my music blocks, it gave me a more of a ‘f**k it’ attitude. Made me want to get this stuff finished, get to work and get on with it. ‘I didn’t like you (and I really mean it)’ is one of those songs that lets you get out everything you wish you had said before and embrace the single life. You’re better off alone if its not with someone who encourages you rather than the opposite." Originally from Reading, Danny Wright migrated from the Berkshire town that has produced so many notable acts since the turn of the millennium to London to pursue the dream of a career in music. An actor and self-taught musician, Camden was a natural first step on this journey. Fully immersing himself in the unique world that is London's music scene, Danny founded two bands, We Are Lost Boys and DissolvedIN. As well as starting the bands and taking on frontman duties, Danny also acted as manager for the bands', quickly learning as much about the industry as he could. Having experienced playing to huge crowds every night on the road with DissolvedIn as they supported bands like Atreyu, Finch, Story Of The Year and Zebrahead, as well as the prestige of playing the Download Festival at Donington Park. Danny Wright knew this is what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. 

Following DissolvedIN, Danny's second band We Are Lost Boys also found live success and industry backing from the likes of Kerrang, before Danny embarked on his current solo project. Not limiting himself to the world of rock, Danny Wright has recently worked with or been involved in projects with the likes of Olly Murs, Ellie Goulding and former X-Factor presenters Cheryl Cole and Tulisa Contostavlos, broadening his musical horizons while honing his own sound. "I’m a passionate person that just wants the world to hear my songs, and I’m going to carry on writing until I have nothing left to write about!" are Danny's own words on the subject. On current evidence, we will be hearing from him for a long time to come.
