London Grime MC 'NOVELIST' sits down with presenter Samuel Eni for a special installment of 'Eni Views'....
During the revealing sit-down, Novelist highlights key points on the grime scene and most importantly, how he feels he can push the culture forward. The discussion covers Hattie Collins and Olivia Rose's recently published 'This Is Grime' book, his inclusion in conversation with other Grime acts (Stormzy, JME, D Double E), for the launch, his ommision from this year's MOBO nominees, clashing Wiley's younger brother - and also launching his own label, this year.
“I feel like a lot of people are given opportunities based on things that are not musical, I wanted to build something myself that was yo, straight, if this is a banger we're putting this out I don’t care if its my boy or not, if my boy's tune is wack I’m not putting it out. So I just feel like its an avenue that we can go down and its good that we can control that ourselves it's something I’ve always wanted to do from a young age".
