One of our fave events, MUCKY WEEKENDER are delighted to announce the first wave of 2024 artists to perform at the independent boutique music festival on 5-7 September.

The 2024 event curated by Dub Pistols’ frontman Barry Ashworth, has promised to deliver a stellar program of heritage live bands and established DJs as well as up and coming talent, covering all genres of music from Dub, Reggae, Jungle, House, Disco, Breakbeat, Funk and everything in-between.  The festival’s location is perfectly set up for 5000 festival-goers within 28 acres of private parkland near Winchester, offering five themed stages and curated meticulously with something for everyone happening around the clock.

First up, Mucky Weekender are very excited to announce Friday's headliner – THE DUALERS heralded as Britain’s finest Ska & Reggae band, the 9-piece collective first hit the headlines when single ‘Kiss on the Lips’ entered into the UK charts at number 21, despite no industry or professional backing. The follow up single featured in full on the Hollywood blockbuster 'Fools Gold', whilst two top 30 UK albums and large-scale tours all over the UK, Europe & Asia continued the success.  The Dualers are one of the few bands that can really get a crowd going, they have a unique sound and style that sets them apart from the rest. The Guardian.  Also joining the festival for the first time are one of the finest electronic dance music party starting bands in the UK right now – Dutty Moonshine Big Band, comprising of a massive 13-piece band, with big brass and even bigger bass, combined with a take no prisoners attitude and infectious energy, without doubt this will be a set to blow your minds. 

Other newcomers to the Mucky line up is House music pioneer Marshall Jefferson, and Drum and Bass royalty London Elektricity, Congo Natty aka Rebel MC, Reggae Sound-system heavyweights Channel One Sound System, DJ Micky Finn and Nicky Blackmarket will be joining the hosts Dub Pistols plus Dreadzone, Dr Meaker, Beans On Toast, Deekline, Ed Solo, Benny Page, Nicky Blackmarket, Freestylers, Plump DJs, Shades of Rhythm, Slipmatt, Doorly, Uncle Dugs, Irvine Welsh, Lisa Loud, Kieu, Hobbs & Ron Mexico, Carl Loben, The Beatles Dub Club, Tracktor Girl, Holy Youth Movement, Daddy Nature and DJ Amiah + many more TBA.

2024 is going to be like no other as Mucky are preparing to take you down the rabbit hole with the MAD HATTERS TEA PARTY theme – fancy dress is a must – expect the unexpected. 

As we are fast approaching the festive season, for every Christmas ticket snapped up throughout December, each sale will receive a Mucky Weekender signed Christmas Card and a Dub Pistols album Frontline bandana.
