NEWS: HANNAH WICKLUND releases new album 'The Prize' on January 12th - UK & Irish live dates announced
The Prize is a wide-reaching ethereal blues rock record, utterly dripping in light and shade. Hannah has a showstopping powerhouse vocal and is a true multi-instrumentalist, including a phenomenal guitarist - check out this live video she recorded for Audiotree as a prime example.
She's a deft touch on the piano too, as seen in the video for single ‘Witness’ - the song also showcases her unique use of the talkbox too.
The album has been produced by Greta Van Fleet bassist Sam Kiszka, marking his first producer credit outside of his own band. He also plays bass, keys and organ on the album, while Greta Van Fleet’s Daniel Wagner also plays drums on the record.
Hannah has toured extensively this year and performed arenas across the UK and Europe in support of Greta Van Fleet, she also played her own headline shows too - all of which received a rave response. She's hitting the road again early next year with a headline world tour, which starts with an extensive run in the US in February before hitting the UK & Ireland in May for 10 shows. You can find her full tour dates here.
Hannah is a visionary creative artist, hand oil painting the artwork for the album and each of the songs on the record - all found within the booklet of the album and also captured in the video for new single 'Hell In The Hallway'. The video uses 12 pieces of Hannah's original artwork, depicting the story of The Prize which represents the journey to womanhood and universal sisterhood, a beautiful representation of what raw feminine power and determination look, feel, and sound like.
