NEWS: WARGASM (UK) named as Friday night headliners at BURN IT DOWN FESTIVAL....
After a huge set on the main stage of Bearded Theory and Download Festival 2024, BYP LIVE are thrilled to announce that WARGASM (UK) will be returning to Torquay’s Burn It Down Festival, stepping into the headlining slot.
The band will be joining Creeper as headliners on the Friday of Burn It Down, the biggest indoor alternative festival in the South West, for its biggest year yet, as part of a lineup that features Caskets, Seeyouspacecowboy, TEN56. and more up-and-comers returning and joining the festival for the first time.
WARGASM join after massive successes in collaborating with the likes of Bad Omens and Crossfaith, and after a hugely successful UK tour that saw them headline London’s iconic O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, with an upcoming support slot with Korn yet to come.
We saw Wargasm (UK) headline Burn it Down a couple of years back (might have been 3 years ago) and they were tremendous back then, having caught them live at Bearded Theory at the end of May, I can honestly say that their live acts is OFF THE SCALE, be excited for what will be one hell of a live performance!
Burn It Down Festival is expanding hugely this year, introducing a boat party that will host an exclusive DJ set from Dream State’s Jessie Powell, an Emo-themed brunch, and the brand new food hall that will host a number of great catering options, and a grand merch hall for fans to peruse.
Burn It Down Festival has quickly become one of the icons of the South West’s alternative scene, bringing bands like Basement, Nova Twins, Dinosaur Pile-Up and Being As An Ocean to the seaside of Torquay in previous years.
After the success of the Hardcore stage in The Attic last year, the festival is now opening up to host bands on the stage for both the Friday and Saturday, too, welcoming heavy hitters like Splitknuckle, Pintglass, No Relief and Going Off to the festival.
Rising stars have joined the festival, too, with Blackgold, Enola Gay, Graphic Nature and Kid Bookie set to make the festival perhaps the greatest yet.
