Quiet Marauder Release 2nd 'MEN' Single - ACCIDENTAL VOYEUR - Free Download….

Combining the ceaseless, nuclear songwriting energy of Simon M. Read and Jonathan Day, the Cardiff-based collective of musicians conjoin to all contribute flourishes of cornet, melodica, guitar, piano and kitchen utensil percussion. Accidental Voyeur showcases the band's creepier side, narrating the obsessive behaviour of a curious neighbour who falls in love with the female subject of his voyeurism.

Quiet Marauder explain the slightly dark ideas behind the track:

"A lot of the songs on the MEN album deal with slightly twisted versions of love that people convince themselves are normal. Spying on neighbours getting undressed is obviously creepy. But, when caught in the moment, there's an undeniable romance contained in that obsession too, we think, weird as that sounds"

Accidental Voyeur is available to download at entirely no cost below

"Welsh music tends to produce mavericks, eccentrics...oddballs. Think Gruff Rhys, for instance, or reaching further back the frenzied adventures of Datblygu. Well, now we can add Welsh group Quiet Marauder to that list." Clash Magazine
