RAE MORRIS unveils "Do It", lifted from her sophomore album due for release in Spring 2018....

Blackpool-born artist Rae Morris has today unveiled ‘Do It’, the second track revealed from her upcoming sophomore album (due for release in Spring 2018). Produced by her long-term collaborator, and now boyfriend Fryars, as well as My Riot (London Grammar, Bloc Party, RHODES), and featuring Rae’s trademark ethereal vocals over euphoric electronic pop elements, ‘Do It’ is a highly personal tale of letting go and jumping in to the unknown.  The video sees Rae once again collaborating with Noel Paul (Bat For Lashes, Röyksopp) who directed the video for ‘Reborn’.

Rae had to say about the track:

'This song is a dare to myself; it’s about daring to take a risk and choosing to take the more exciting route! It kind of exists as a part two of Cold from my first album Unguarded. It's what happens when you go back into the studio to make more music. Do you write another duet and do a similar thing, or take a risk and do something you've never done before? It's also pretty damn sexy!'

Later this month, Rae will be hitting the road for her first tour in almost two years, starting off in Norwich on 24th September, and taking in Nottingham, Salisbury and Leeds, finishing at London’s Islington Assembly Hall on 28th September.

Following signing to Atlantic Records at just 17, Rae took her time, honing her craft and developing her sound through a string of EP releases. Following her appearance in the BBC Sound Of 2015, Rae released her debut album ‘Unguarded’ in January 2015 to much critical acclaim. Produced by Ariel Rechtshaid (HAIM, Charli XCX), the album hit the top 10 in the UK album charts and announced her as one of the most relevant, exciting new artists to come out of the UK. She also found time to lend her unmistakable vocals on collaborations with Clean Bandit ‘Up Again’, Bombay Bicycle Club (‘Luna’), Fakear, Kaytranada and Rejjie Snow amongst others.

More album news to come soon.
