With the new album ready to drop, fans can now PRE-ORDER/SAVE HERE it ahead of its release. Adding to the excitement, the band has also unveiled a brand new single, "Lost In The Moment," which you can STREAM HERE
The Pale White returns with a bang in 2025, offering a taste of their upcoming album through the electrifying new single "Lost In The Moment." This track charges forward with an energy that erupts into a sonic blend of striking guitar riffs and intricate textures. Propelled by a driving bassline and punctuated by hypnotic vocals and tubular bells, the song evokes the nostalgia of timeless moments where everything seems to stand still.
Frontman Adam Hope shares his thoughts on the new single: “'Lost In The Moment' holds a special place in my heart. It's about an unexpected wave of emotions or a certain numbness that isn't necessarily tied to anything good or bad. It captures that moment of captivation, whether it's something beautiful or a melancholic feeling in the pit of your stomach. Time freezes, and you're neither here nor there... just for a moment."
The Big Sad marks a significant evolution for The Pale White. It's an album that emerged from challenging times but symbolizes hope and renewal. The band pushes boundaries with this release, venturing beyond their established sound. Adam Hope explains, "The Big Sad represents a fresh start and a bold step forward. We wanted to break free from the usual and try something new, something daring, something great."
The album reflects on themes of stillness, reflection, renewal, and defiance, showcasing the band's ability to merge classic melodies with powerful, furniture-shifting riffs. Shaped by the loss and gains of the pandemic era, and influenced by a return to their roots in Wallsend and Newcastle, The Big Sad is self-produced and represents The Pale White's newfound self-confidence.
Since their formation in 2016, The Pale White has garnered a loyal fanbase and widespread acclaim. Brothers Adam and Jack Hope, along with Tom Booth, honed their craft as a formidable trio, releasing their debut album Infinite Pleasure in 2021. They quickly gained support from major radio stations and received praise from NME and The Independent for their distinctive sound.
As the release date for The Big Sad approaches, The Pale White is set to embark on a UK headline tour this March, followed by support slots for Frank Black in February and the Pixies in April and May.
