Set to release on March 14th, Ollie Dixon’s new track ‘Solace’ is a soul-soothing anthem for fans of Ben Howard, Novo Amor, and RY X. 

Deeply thought-provoking and immersive, ‘Solace’ is the second single from his forthcoming EP ‘Rebirth.’

During the winter of 2023/2024, Dixon returned to a Cornish recording studio with producer Rich Stockley. The collaboration resulted in ‘Solace,’ a track that masterfully captures the essence of finding calm amid chaos. It's an almost meditative experience, characterised by its off-kilter rhythm that draws listeners into a hypnotic state.

The inspiration for ‘Solace’ comes from a personal journey Dixon undertook after facing extreme burnout, stress, and anxiety over three intense years. While surfing, he found himself caught in an undercurrent and felt a profound sense of calmness as he surrendered to the waves. This unexpected peace became a pivotal moment for Dixon, one that he strives to recreate in his daily life.

‘Solace’ is a testament to Dixon's ability to craft a serene soundscape with ethereal vocals and lightly plucked guitar strings. The track transcends everyday life, transporting listeners to a suspended state where they can truly breathe, think, and reflect, a luxury in today’s fast-paced, disposable world.
