The North Yorkshire Singer-songwriter has earned his stripes as a touring musician and veteran of thousands of gigs in a dizzying range of genres. As a result his music drips with soul, folk-rock, blues, swing, and a peculiarly English Americana.

His experience has also made him the proud owner of a versatile and passionate voice, capable of reaching into the very corners of a song; a voice which is the envy of his peers.

Three studio albums with Scarborough based group Stony helped establish Rich’s reputation as an acoustic artist par excellence. His subsequent work with songwriter Dave Greaves further focussed Rich’s poetic and emotive song -writing style and ensemble playing.

Amazingly, on top of all this Rich is now in demand as a swing-jazz singer interpreting the Great  American Song Book with humour, humility and personality.

Rich is sitting on a new batch of tuneful and truthful self-penned songs which are to be unveiled for the first time on his debut release for Mercurial Records.
