Oded Kafri aka KAFRi is a rising star on the World music scene. Bringing a new definition to the drums & drumming with his ecstatic showmanship, he now releases the breathtaking EP Drum the World. (April 2017)
The lead single "Come on Everybody" is released in May and you can see the fantastic energy filled video below;
KAFRi teamed up with Bouba Fall from Senegal (African percussion and dancer) and Christian Von Richthofen (famous for his ‘Auto Auto’ stage show – involving playing two cars on a theatre stage as percussion instruments in full tuxedos!) Between them, they created Drum The World which combined KAFRi’s music and their skills to create something unique and magnificent.
The popularity of the shows have been growing bigger, bringing him exposure to the masses, all over the globe and KAFRi's Drum the World shows has been staged at some prestigious venues including KOKO, Brixton Electric and The London Jazz Festival for BBC Radio (Southbank Centre).
More recently he played on the center stage at the NAMM Show World Percussion Festival, Delhi, India and was invited to do a TED talk.
KAFRi's Drum The World Show is now available as a solo show or as a full band and the album is released this Spring via Off Ya Tree Records.
