STORMS Announce ‘Undress’ tour & offer you a FREE download....

Storms have announced a full UK tour this October in association with Metropolis Music and Friends, with arrangement by X-ray touring. The band have been building a solid reputation across the industry and an ever-increasing loyal live following. It’s no surprise with the likes of Clash saying, “Storms have a contagious edge. It's there in their live shows, and it's also there in the band's songwriting – catchy, melodic yet retaining a real sense of grit”.

To experience a taste of Storms performing their unstoppable grunge-pop melodies live, you can watch them in session playing their latest track, the melancholic anthem ‘Shame’ recorded at SSR studios in Manchester.

In the midst of an emerging Brit grunge scene, Storms are leading the pack effortlessly mixing a contemporary Blend of 90’s indie sensibilities with Seattle grunge undertones. They have just played a sold-out residency at the St. Moritz club, Soho and were chosen as one of four acts by Jack Daniels to have their set filmed at this year’s Isle Of Wight festival.

You can see the London four piece and their energetic live performance on their ‘Undress’ tour in October.

Storms recently revealed the dark and disquieting video to their latest track ‘Shame’ which in its first week clocked up an impressive 30,000 views and is available as a FREE download from their website.

‘Shame’ drifts between enchantingly melancholic stomping verses and an anthemic chorus showcasing their own unique take on noisy-grunge pop. It follows on from the release of their highly praised debut track ‘Girl’, which saw the band receive instant acclaim, winning over fans at press and radio alike, alongside their fast-growing live following.

"It’s hard not to fall for Storms after you hear their charming track. What ostensibly starts as a melodic slacker gem in the vein of Mac De Marco quickly evolves into a Nirvana-style thrash, and then back again." – NME

“The dream of the 90s is alive with Storms, who resurrect sloppy, riff-driven grunge rock” – Notion

"With wrenching, scathing vocals and the splicing of Britpop and American College rock riffs, Storms are painting themselves as a band ready to take on the world, one song at a time" – Disorder

“[Girl]… fronts an upbeat melody layered with a heartfelt croon, made raw by a scuzzy 90s’s grunge undertone.” – Wonderland

“A sweetly more-ish blend of gauzy pop and 90s grunginess” – Classic Rock

“Heavy guitars, sweet melodies and psychedelic glow” - Louder Than War

“starting off on a Weezeresque melody and effortlessly building to a soul soaked scuzz filled refrain that’s nothing short of anthemic… it would seem the nineties noise-pop pioneers are creating quite the storm” – London On The Inside
