The verses of this track feature light piano and haunting strings whilst the singer-songwriter sings softly about feeling confused. The music video portrays this with great attention to detail, as she is shown in a dark, candlelit room, looking lost and upset. But when the chorus kicks in and she starts singing louder and more directly, suiting the music video once again as her body language becomes notably more confident.
