Originally meant to be featured on an extended version of the album, the collection features a selection of tracks that were just too damn good not to have their own release.

And so, Yucksongs! will be released on January 5th 2015, and you can listen to the wonderfully-sounding, brilliantly-named 'Dharma & Greged' here.

The new LP follows 2010's I Love You! I Love You! I Love You And I'm In Love With You! Have An Awesome Day! Have The Best Day Of Your Life! which was released on David Byrne's Luaka Bop label and instantly caused 183 bloggers' typewriting keyboards to explode.

Apparently drawing from the Andrew WK school of philosophy, Fridd says of the project: "So if an asteroid was gonna take out Earth tomorrow, and your friends were having a huge party to celebrate what a wild ride it's been, when you showed up this band would be playing. Join them in their jubiliant, dance party salute to the supreme ass-kickingness of life."

"We listened to 'Girl' and instantly replayed it 1,400 times in a row… so goddamn catchy and anthemic"- Noisey

"Powerful and intoxicating… the happiest, most pure moment of music I've heard all year" - Stereogum

"Terror Pigeon have consistently carried the torch for genuine love for the craft of songwriting, and [Girl] rings true to their unwavering mission" - Portals

"Genius" - Clash

"The band approaches its mix of flailing synth-pop, performance-art, and crowd participation with an abandon that should be admired" - AV Club

"I've never been good at picking out feel good cards, but next time I think I'll skip Hallmark and send them this record" - Consequence of Sound
