UK Pop Punks THE BOTTOM LINE release new video for 'I Still Hate You'....
In celebration of their upcoming tours with Simple Plan in the US and Waterparks in the UK, British pop punks The Bottom Line have released a brand new video for the title track from their recent EP I Still Hate You.
The video premiered on Rock Sound yesterday, where frontman Callum Amies explained, "'I Still Hate You' is pretty self explanatory, we’ve all been there before. We rush into a relationship with someone we think is perfect, it becomes toxic and everything falls apart, pretty damn quickly. Usually these things just slowly go away and we get on with our lives.
"But on this particular occasion I remember the repercussions becoming really sour - the person egged my car and got a job at my local bar to make my life hell. So I felt like the only thing that was left to do was to write a completely obvious song about them, with a VERY to the point meaning! The song is super relatable and really connected with our fans quickly."
A joyously flipped sonic middle finger with a thumping drumbeat, ‘I Still Hate You’ is a glorious slice of old school skate punk with a fresh, modern twist. The video, featuring exploding confetti and balloons showering the band as they play, captures the very essence of The Bottom Line.
Having previously performed with the likes of Bowling For Soup, Gerard Way, Mallory Knox and Don Broco, 2017 has seen the band traverse the world bringing their energetic live show to thousands of fans both old and new. Their European tour included a headline slot at Facedown, London and they kick off a headline tour of China on August 7th, before heading straight to Prague to support The Offspring on August 23rd.
They will then be joining skate punk pioneers Simple Plan on their No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls Tour across the US and Canada, from August 25th until September 19th. The Bottom Line will then power through a UK tour supporting Waterparks from September 21stto September 30th – see full UK dates below.
With their electrifying sound, huge live charisma and dedicated fan base, The Bottom Line are making their mark around the world as the next big thing in pop punk.
