WE ARE TEMPORARY - MACHINE LOVE (FEAT. MISFIT MOD) - SINGLE REVIEW
A vulnerable, eclectic new track that sounds promising for dipping its toes into a different style with the popular electronic synth genre that is flooding the music modern scene. Think contemporary Chvrches, Banks and Lorde but mashed up with a dash of Nine Inch Nails and a hint of The Cure.
Brooklyn based Mark Roberts has teamed up with London based Sarah Kelleher of Misfit Mod to make a hauntingly devastating ambient mash up of electronic, synth, dark-wave and gothic desire for latest track ‘Machine Love’.
Seductively confusing and mesmerizing, this track is brilliantly innovative in merging various genres together as Kelleher’s featuring vocals are delicate and amorous bringing a whole sensual upheaval to the track.
This is a clear stand out design compared to other artists within the same genre and an exciting debut as we eagerly await new full-length album ‘Gemini’ due this fall.
