We chatted to Rosie from Cornish trio ROSIE THE CROW ahead of LOOE MUSIC FESTIVAL....

Looe Music Festival is three days (29th Sept - 1st Oct) of superb live music in a magical setting on the stunning Cornish coast. A ‘grown-up’ music festival where camping isn’t a prerequisite, where you can visit for the day or the weekend, stay in comfort and eat like a king.

We heard that Cornish trio ROSIE THE CROW are performing at the festival, GQ say that they're the "best thing to come out of Cornwall since Poldark", we were instantly drawn in and asked Rosie for a chat about the festival, her top festival survival tips and who she would invite as headliner for next year's event, read on to find out more....

Please take  a moment to introduce yourself and tell people why they should come and check out your set at Looe Festival this year

Well people should come and see us because they might want to have a dance and watch a cool new band play some music!

Looe Music Festival always puts on a great range of bands, both local, national and sometimes international, which acts are YOU most excited about seeing this year?

Every one! So many good acts, especially the ones from Cornwall.

UK festivals can often be messy affairs, please tell me your top three tips to surviving one?

Always take waterproof mascara, wet wipes and rum.

How did the opportunity come about for you to perform at this year’s festival?

I’m not entirely sure but we are super happy for the support and can’t wait to play

Looe Festival takes place quite late in the year, have you been to any other festivals this year either to play or just as a festival goer? If so, which stood out most for you?

Port Eliot and The Great Estate were amazing. We played a lot of festivals this year but those were brilliant.

Picking the headliner for Looe Festival must be quite a tall order, who would YOU choose for 2018?

The Foals

Lastly, there are a ton of bands and acts out there, please tell me the name of one that we should invest some time in?

St Vincent

We'd like to thank Rosie for taking the time to chat to us, we wish her every success for the LOOE MUSIC FESTIVAL and any other shows she has lined up for the future.
