Australia based production duo YesYou unveil their new single, ‘Waste Away’, (feat. Noah Slee x Castlerays), released in December via Partyfine, the label founded by Pierre-Alexandre Busson, better known as prolific French DJ and producer Yuksek. 
 
This is the first single to be taken from the imprint’s upcoming ‘Partyfine EP#10’, entitled ‘Waste Away’ and exhibits all the qualities of the group already lauded by the likes of Neon Gold, Earmilk and Indie Shuffle.  A soulful verse merges into an infectious chorus whilst playful synths flutter around strong chords and a classy, refined house beat. 

The song features previous collaborator Noah Slee, who leant his dulcet tones to the LDRU co-produced track ‘Even When’, and Castlerays, whose standout tracks ‘Be My Lover’ and ‘Body Hum’ were produced by YesYou. 
 
YesYou, the moniker of Jono Kirkham and Gav Parry, have made an impressive start to their career. Formed in 2011, the pair’s music first made waves in their native Australia, with taste-making station Triple J playing 'Half Of It', 'Frivolous Life' and ‘So Much To Give’ on heavy rotation. 
 
Released in June this year, ‘Even When’ saw the boys team up with Sydney producer LDRU to create a killer summer jam that now sits comfortably on just over 100,000 listens on their Soundcloud, a page that has amassed over 42,000 followers to date. The blogosphere has responded in equal measure to YesYou, with their mash up of MGMT x Jay-Z x Kylie Minogue peaking at #5 on the Hype Machine in 2013. 
 
Meanwhile, the label itself has gained notable respect from its peers since its inception in 2013, with Jeremy Abbott of Mixmag praising the imprint as ‘a label as exciting as its manager’, and Annie Nightingale citing Yuksek’s releases as quickly making Partyfine ‘a trusted tastemaker in music.’ 
 
Upon the single’s release, remixes from Nudist, and fellow Aussies Gold Fields are set to follow. A fantastically accessible track bursting with energy, ‘Waste Away’ is a song destined to rip up dancefloors across 2015, and the remainder of the tracks on Partyfine’s 10th EP look set to present more of the same.
