Hailing from Northampton and creating melodic and dynamic indie rock, An Army Of Lights create a lush sound using duelling harmonies and hooky guitars with tunes often ending in an epic blaze that takes the roof off.

Matinée are an East London four piece indie band who return with their stunning new single These Days. The single, produced by Tony Doogan (Mogwai, Carl Barat, Glasvegas) is a melody driven guitar  soaring  song  about  loves  broken  secrets  and  will  be released  this autumn on Neon Tetra Records and is a blistering indie track. You can hear the single below:

Fresh off the heels of last single “Guitar Muse”, London pop merchant The Cheek Of Her have returned with new offering “Another Guy I Buried In The Woods”; a cutting slice of acidic pop rage held beautifully together by Helen Dooley’s luscious vocals and flawless piano work.

Walking On Cars support The Kooks on the upcoming tour,  they are due to release their next single ‘Always Be With You’ on 8 December on Virgin Records.

We Are Carnivores are a Nottingham Alt Math Rock band made up of four chaps on a galaxy quest of a lifetime. Riding unicorns through fields of melody, big juicy choruses and breakdowns that close down small venues, Harry, James, Alex and Beu write riffs that will stick to your brain like a barnacle and melodies that will catch you if you fall.

We were fortunate enough to be invited into their tour bus where we chatted about 10 year anniversaries, cover versions and spooning, here's how we got on....

Septuagenarian Wilf Turnbull and his friend Derek Philpott are taking the music world by storm with their letters to pop stars, challenging them over the lyrical content of their compositions.  The Bournemouth based OAP's journey through decades of pop and rock has led them to discover more and more dubious lyrical claims and declarations they felt needed to be addressed as a matter of urgency, though it should be noted they do sometimes get the wrong end of the stick!

Arca's highly anticipated debut album, titled Xen will be released on 3 November 2014 on Mute, following a recently inked deal with the iconic label.
