After rewrites, re-shoots, and much kerfuffle, it's finally happening. After all this time, pain, and effort, I can finally say that it's done.
Today, I'm releasing Billy Moon's new video, “Video Girls”.

Seattle duo, and “Hair, Teeth & Volume” pioneers Hobosexual have brought rock n roll back to Seattle, 1 riff at a time with their massive sophomore effort LP, Hobosexual II.
We caught up with the duo in the Wallingford branch of Molly Moon's Ice Cream Parlour, I went for a melted chocolate and salted caramel scoop in a waffle cone, the dynamic duo were debating on whether to go for the Earl Grey or the Stumptown Coffee flavour, come on folks, who makes ice cream that tastes like tea and coffee, I can understand coffee flavour but tea??? Anyway, whilst they were waiting for whatever strange concoction they had dreamt up, I chatted to them about beards, BMX's and insulin pumps, here's how we got on....

We know you’ve been waiting a long time so you’ll be able to pre-order the album from January 2015. We’ve had an absolutely cracking time in the studio and can’t wait for you guys to finally hear it.
We bumped into Polly Money literally two minutes before she was to go onstage at a Boomtown Rats gig in Exeter (something she doesn't do every day), we quickly asked her if she would like to take part in our 'Introducing' feature, naturally, she said yes (just like the man from Del Monte).
We decided to take Polly to a typically East End pie n' mash cafe for some lovely home cooked traditional cooking, we perused the menu and ordered a couple of the 'house specials', whilst waiting for the meals to come, we sipped coke out of the bottle and had a chat about what she learned on a songwriting course, playing guitar in the dark and supporting MUSE, here's how we got on....

Read MoreThis album was put on on vinyl release by the Grateful Dead as this years Record Store Day offering. Sadly a turntable no longer plays a part in music playing in this household so it was pleasing to see the Hofheinz Pavilion, Houston, Texas concert (11/18/72) released as a single CD over on the bands official website. Can this reviewer thank a good American friend in the beautiful city of Charleston in the Palmetto State for this copy.
Read MoreThe Bad Years, making a start on our questions....probably!
The Bad Years consists of members Sami Akbari and Aaron Mort. Their music spans genres from different eras, evoking sounds of bands like INXS, The Cardigans and The Kills.
We just happened to be 'taking the air' on West Compton Boulevard when we happened across Aaron who was looking stressed, trying to find a coffee shop. We said 'Hi' and after a couple of minutes, he had agreed to do an interview with us (it's the least he could have done as those air fares aren't cheap you know...), we found a suitable coffee house and ordered some drinks and sat down, we chatted about making music videos, cool clothes and peeing in the shower, here's how we got on....
Read MoreAll cover albums have a pick'n' mix quality, with artists often going for famous songs that are so familiar that alternative versions inevitably suffer. Others take lesser known songs, often from unexpected genres (in this case "emo"), and somehow manage to define an approach which is much more worthwhile. Mike Kinsella is a veteran of various Ohio bands and records in a nice lo fi fashion including using the home of his mother as a studio.

Sitting in a dark room surrounded by a table of candles, upon a wooden chair sits Star Anna, just her and an acoustic guitar. Her head bowed down towards the body of this instrument, her voice passionate which immerses the small audience in realising we are in the presence of a talented musician. “I’m going to sing a sad song”, she informs us with a hint of sarcasm.....
