We chatted to a super talented artist from London called Sami Nathan all about her latest single 'Beautiful Outside'. She’s currently holed up in Brighton where she is waiting for the nod to return to normal (whenever that might be).

Matt says of the NHS;

“My concern is that while the NHS continues to go through arguably one of the most troubling times in their history. We are all thinking, as a society about getting back to normality, but what we must be aware of, is that this is their normal. So it is our duty as British people to make sure that this support does NOT stop, there is no end in sight for the NHS because they are our protectors. Part of the circle of life, our reality is, every one of us, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, wives, husbands, sons and daughters, even after these tough times, we WILL still need our earth angels, the NHS. Let us always remember, to never forget.”

Punk rock supergroup Fake Names will release their new album this Friday 8th May via Epitaph Records featuring Brian Baker (Minor Threat, Dag Nasty, Bad Religion), Michael Hampton (S.O.A., Embrace, One Last Wish), Dennis Lyxzén (Refused, International Noise Conspiracy, INVSN), and Johnny Temple (Girls Against Boys, Soulside).

The Cosmic Barbecue finds Dinosaur Pile-Up’s Matt Bigland (vocals, guitar), Mike Sheils (drums) and Jim Cratchley (bass) discussing “everything and anything”. The first episode discusses the origins of the band, prompted by questions from fans, and is the band’s way of staying connected with each other and fans during the current coronavirus pandemic.

It’s time to discover sensational new artist Sami Nathan. Born and raised in North London, Sami started playing the piano and singing in her early years. A natural songwriter with an explosive voice. She honed her craft writing all over the world learning that there’s nothing more important than the song! Drawing comparisons to the likes of Amy Winehouse with a sprinkling of Janis Joplin, Sami is influenced by a wide range of artists such as Elton John, The Beatles, and Stevie Wonder and like them before her uses a song to tell her story. Chaka Khan is a fan, showering praise on Instagram at this future talent, having seen a blistering cover of Chaka & Rufus’ ‘Tell Me Something Good’.
